Believe it or not, we have found that the larger the company, the more time you will have to spend trying to figure out how much you will have to pay them every month!
What is the price of Intercom’s chatbot?
- For their chatbot service, Intercom charges you “per resolution”. So if 500 users interacted with the chatbot in a month, you may be looking at a $500+ bill — just for the chats!
Mentioning “$0.99” seems to be a clear marketing tactic to hide the real costs you will end up paying every month. - If you want the complete ecosystem of Intercom’s customer support tools and automations – like their help center, workflows, etc, you have to shell out at least another few hundred dollars! Their $39 “Essential” plan is pretty hollow and higher plans are also restricted by “per seat”!

What’s the price of BeyondChats’ chatbot?

Verdict:
- Intercom’s pricing is complex and can be unpredictable – you may end up paying A LOT every month.

I’m so surprised that it’s 2025 and businesses like Intercom are still employing such wicked practices to confuse users. :(

Intercom boasts that their Fin chatbot and helpdesk can communicate in over 40 languages. But does it actually deliver? Please watch this video to see the reality:
Intercom couldn’t even handle a simple language switch request – even after several tries.
It flat-out told us it couldn’t speak in non-English languages!
Oof!
It begs the question, is Intercom flat-out lying to potential users about its capabilities in hopes of roping them in?
Intercom has mentioned so many amazing features and AI automations on their website and their demo videos. But after this comparison, I have started to doubt which of their claims are true, and which are just marketing gimmicks. :/
Let’s see if BeyondChats fairs any better. BeyondChats also promises that their chatbot is able to handle queries in 75+ languages. They boast to be the best chatbots in the world for Indian audience. Check out the video below to view our chat with their AI:
Not only did BeyondChats’ chatbot quickly understand users’ intent for switching language, its responses were as good in regional Indian languages as they were in English!
The bot even recommended relevant business actions while conversing in Hindi proving its state-of-the-art advancement in multilingual conversation understanding!
Verdict: If your users communicate in diverse languages, BeyondChats is a no-brainer choice. Intercom fails to live upto its reputation and its claims when it comes to providing multilingual support.

Verdict: Both Intercom as well as BeyondChats offer equally comprehensive multi-channel support. You won’t face any issues responding to your customers on any channel – be it your website, whatsapp or Instagram – if you choose either of the platforms.
Advanced Reporting and Analytics
One very important goal of both Intercom & BeyondChats is to help businesses make data-driven decisions and maximise their ROI from digital channels. Providing insights and analytics about user behaviour, content discovery, etc. are key components to accomplishing this goal.
Intercom offers a wide-range of analytics options which can help your business understand trends and satisfaction metrics much better. Some of these include:

- Unresolved questions report
- And much more

Verdict:

- But if you are an SMB and care about each individual customer’s satisfaction level, BeyondChats’ customer-focused analytics approach will be better suited for your needs.
Engaging conversations & Query Resolutions
This is perhaps the most important metric. Let’s face it — Most of us don’t like talking to AI chatbots majorly because they seem so unhelpful and such a waste of time!

So, we talked to both chatbots to qualitatively assess: Do their chatbots FEEL any more engaging than the rest? Our qualitative analysis tried to answer the following three questions:
- Conversation flow: Does the chatbot feel authentic? How human-like is the tone, length, etc.?
- Contextual understanding: Are responses relevant to what the user was asking?
- How engaging are the conversations?

Guess what? This leads to a very poor customer experience. Not at all what I’d want from a chatbot that’s integrated on my company’s website.

- BeyondChats:
- Their chatbot tries really hard to “understand” what user wants to know and responds accordingly!
- When users’ queries are unclear, the chatbot asks for clarification instead of just spitting out whatever answer seems close enough.
I felt like someone was actually listening to me! The conversation felt REAL. Good job!

- It acts like a classic “FAQ chatbot” – ask a question, get a closely-related, but still pretty generic answer.

- By asking clarification-questions, responding with shorter messages, providing next set of queries user may have, etc., it was a delight to talk to BeyondChats!
